Mark A. Michel

Mark A. Michel, Managing Director of Carwal Capital Partners, an investment banking and financial advisory firm providing capital solutions to middle market companies and assisting them to structure and raise equity and debt for a variety of purposes including M&A, working capital, capital expenditures, and refinancings. Moreover, Carwal has particular expertise in structuring and raising capital for infrastructure and industrial project financings.
Mr. Michel is also a general partner with the McIntyre Investment Opportunity Fund, a feeder fund-of- funds associated with Yucaipa American Alliance Funds, a leading Los Angeles-based private equity firm. He is responsible for raising capital as well as structuring financial products designed for distribution in the broker/dealer channel as well as the RIA and institutional capital channels. Mr. Michel is licensed a securities representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) (Series 7) as well as the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) (Series 63).
Previously to his career in financial services, Mr. Michel served in the White House during the first and second terms of the Obama Administration and was the Navy’s Representative to the National Security Council in the White House Situation Room and was a member of the National Security Council staff. He crafted and conducted daily intelligence briefings with the President, and senior West Wing principals and liaised with global heads of state. Prior to his White House service, Mr. Michel was a career intelligence officer serving 22-years in the U.S. Navy and focused his service within Naval Special Warfare (SEALs) and the Special Operations Community, and held many senior-level positions throughout the Intelligence Community and National Security establishment. While serving on active duty, Mr. Michel was stationed and deployed across the globe and held significant leadership assignments not only in Washington, but also in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Michel currently serves in the U.S. Navy Reserve as Executive Officer of Special Operations Command – Europe (SOCEUR) based in Stuttgart, Germany.
Since departing the White House, Mr. Michel has also served as a Director at the Babel Street Corporation, a data and text analytics company based in the Northern Virginia technology corridor outside Washington, DC and works closely with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) to raise scholarship funds for the children of fallen special operators. In addition, Florida Governor Rick Scott appointed Mr. Michel to the Board for the Central Florida Modeling, Simulation & Training (MS&T) Blue Ribbon Commission, which was established to protect defense industry jobs in Florida.
Mr. Michel earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Auburn University and an MBA in finance from the University of Miami Graduate School of Business.
William E. McCorey

William “Bill” McCorey is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Universal Parks and Resorts, where he is responsible for the Parks Technology Transformation, Parks IT Integration, and future international expansion. He joined Universal Orlando in November 2010.
Bill has spent the bulk of his technology career in retail with a focus on eCommerce, Infrastructure and largescale applications development. Previously, he served as Vice President Global Infrastructure for IBM and spent 17 years at Circuit City Stores, with his last role being Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Whether it is work, play or giving back to the community, Bill sets challenging goals and delivers results. He is an accomplished speaker who frequently speaks on the power of teams and is working on a book, titled “Who do You Want on Your Rope Team?” Bill combined his love of mountain climbing with his passion for raising awareness of Fanconi Anemia – a genetic disorder that ultimately leads to bone marrow failure – by forming a fundraising effort that has resulted in more than $150,000 raised for research. Bill graduated from West Virginia State College in 1982 with a degree in Accounting. He has completed 40 marathons, including 15 straight Boston Marathons. He has three children, Bill III, 33; Lauren, 29; and Drew, 18. An avid supporter in local and national efforts for children, Bill has also served on the board for UCP of Central Florida and has previously served as Vice President of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Richmond, Virginia.

Karen has 30+ years experience programming, installing, and managing applications used in various industries including Chemicals, Entertainment, Defense, Recruitment, Telecommunications, and Hospitality. Harrison Figura is the Delivery Quality Assurance Manager at eprentise. He has been with the company four years, starting as an Account Representative while learning the ins and outs of eprentise solutions for Oracle® E-Business Suite customers looking to make changes to their ERP systems. Later, he became a Sales Engineer and actively participated in the coordination of software releases.
In 2013, Figura became a Customer Delivery Engineer focusing on the FlexField product line – an out-of-the box software solution by eprentise that provides fast configuration to model and change charts of accounts. Figura has been involved in more than 100 chart of accounts conversion projects that comprised of designing charts of accounts, training teams of users, coordinating rollout strategies, and addressing issues using his problem-solving skills. Brian Lewis, CPA, is Corporate Controller of eprentise. As a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Lewis began his career at Ernst & Young, a Big Four accounting and professional services firm. While there, he worked in the Accounting and Assurance Business Services Group providing external audit services to a variety of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and public sector clients, with a focus on accounting systems and internal control auditing.
Subsequent to working with Ernst & Young, Lewis became the managing partner of the CPA firm of Lewis & Spagnol and acted as a CPA for eprentise on both tax and accounting matters. He joined eprentise as a full-time employee in 2011, bringing accounting information system, GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory accounting expertise to the eprentise team, as well as managing operations for the company. Lewis holds a master’s degree in accounting from Stetson University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
Skip Straus is a seasoned computer industry professional focused on business software applications. He started his career in public accounting and held many roles at a global computer manufacturer. Since 1996 he has specialized in Oracle E-Business Suite. Over four years at Oracle, he was instrumental in the roll out of Multi-Org and AIM 2.0 for EBS. He has worked with numerous EBS customers in the areas of archiving, migration tools, telecom management services, auditing, SOD controls, revenue management, and instance transformations. While at eprentise, he authored white papers and was a presenter at Collaborate, Openworld, and regional OAUG events. At Absolute Technologies, in addition to sales, marketing, and consulting in the area of GRC, he develops EBS bolt-on and cloud products with Oracle APEX.
Mike Swing is the founder of TruTek, a national leader in technical and functional Oracle training and consulting. Mike has been an Oracle Apps DBA with TruTek since 1996, an Oracle DBA since 1993, and a DBA with Informix, Ingres, and Sybase from 1988 to 1993. He has been a software engineer since 1986 and has two degrees in physics from the University of Utah.
Ihtesham Uddin is Vice President of Product Solutions at eprentise. Ihtesham has extensive experience with enterprise applications, ERP and software product development; including 15 years of Oracle E-Business Suite experience and 20 years of experience with Oracle database, frontend and middle tier technologies. At eprentise, Ihtesham’s responsibilities includes developing and enhancing products to provide EBS clients with the maximum returns on their investments.
